What is a Pension House?

Vistors from the west may not be familiar with the term "Pension House." While it isn't a hotel or a motel or even a bed and breakfast, a pension house offers the traveler some amenities in common with each of these. A pension house is typically smaller than what a westerner would consider standard for a hotel. A pension house is affordable like a motel and is more intimate like a bed and breakfast might be.
